Newsys Subscription 2.7.2 release offers customizable time periods

The Newsys Subscription 2.7.2 release offers the ability to customize time periods.

Prior to this release, subscription time periods were limited to durations that were set by default. Now, users can customize the time periods via a text input field. This offers great flexibility for your newspaper, as your staff can now create packages that will work best for your staff and readers.

Documentation for this product is available on http://docs.townnews.com/kbpublisher/505. If you have any questions about this new feature, please contact customer support at 800-293-9576 or submit a ticket at support.townnews.com.

Top Ads release features export option

The latest Top Ads release provides the ability to export content from each individual module to either a comma-separated value (CSV) file or a ZIP file, which can then be utilized in your print product.

In the administrative end, there will be a new Top Ads module option entitled “Export” that will have three possible settings. The three options include imageurl, imagezip, or turning the export option off. The imageurl setting exports the ads to a single CSV file with images being represented as URLs. Imagezip means that a ZIP file will be created with a single CSV file, using just image file names, and all of the image files. If the export setting is turned off, there will be no ads exported from that module. If a module is set to export, then it will automatically export when a site is published.

The Top Ads export option will be very beneficial, as it is a method to use your online content in your print product or to back up your data.

Documentation for Top Ads is available on http://docs.townnews.com/kbpublisher/109. If you have any questions or would like to set up additional configurations for this new feature on your Web site, please contact customer support at 800-293-9576 or submit a ticket at support.townnews.com.
